Called, made an appointment which was convenient for me. Arrived as directed and they got to me immediately. The waiting area has TV, comfortable seating, coffee. Quiet, clean ... relaxing. All personnel were professional and helpful in the service area (I do not remember the name of the service rep at the desk, I apologize). But, he explained everything in detail and escorted me to the waiting area. I might add that Karam is a very nice, courteous, very well-informed gentleman and I am fortunate that he is my go-to rep. THANK YOU!

I got a oil change and tire rotation as usual but yet again after asking the service man did the technician remember this time to calibrate my tires so that I could tell which tire is low if I have a problem but once again the technician didn’t calibrate my tires and I had to drive way back out to the Dealership again to have them calibrated and I live to far away from the Dealership to keep making these unnecessary trips because of their lack of detail during my service. This is unacceptable because no one is paying for my gas or even offering any comps for my inconvenience due to the Dealership’s negligence.

This was my reply to an email from Stan McKenzie asking for a perfect score in every category. It started perfect but my reply explains the less than perfect score. Thank you Stan. I enjoyed meeting you and having your expertise as a salesman. However, I will not be able to give the perfect score as you requested. I remember you saying something about the tax and title fees after you were about 15 feet away from me as you were leaving with the signed agreement to purchase. After working construction and riding motorcycles all these years, my hearing is not the best. My reply was, well they have to be paid. I did not realize at the time you meant that I would be required to get it done myself here in Louisiana. I had already told you how frustrating that experience was when I moved back to Louisiana last year. Everything is done by appointment and they make sure to have enough customers scheduled so that you get to spend an hour or so in their lovely waiting area. The Jeep I traded was purchased in Austin, Texas while there visiting with friends. They handled all of those transactions and my tag and registration was received in the mail. Smart is the first new car dealer in my buying experience that has not done this and I've bought many new vehicles since my first one in 1974. So, lucky me, I will spend half a day getting this done. And your F&I guy doesn't have to waste maybe 30 (if that much) minutes of his time. And then there's the small scratch that I found while taking possession of the truck. You have a picture of it as I do. Smart's solution, per our conversation, is to send me a check for $100 to have it touched up or come back there and have it done by appointment. You all knew I was not local and making an appointment for repair is impractical. As I mentioned to you, what if it costs more than $100? Other than the local GMC dealer I don't know anyone to contact for this. And, as I mentioned to you, Smart could handle it through the dealer network. It was clearly done on Smart's lot before I took possession of the truck and I consider it their responsibility. So, lucky me again. Being 71 and not in the best of health, I've had to learn to take more and not get overly worked up over things like this. That's why I did not argue. Also why I'm writing this and not calling as you requested. I still like the truck and expect to get a lot of good use from it. Hope you and your wife have a very enjoyable vacation. Regards,

Service area seemed a little chaotic. Talked to one guy on the phone and made an appointment but when I arrived no one heard of me or the appointment. This is nothing unusual. They were able to do my oil change and tire rotation as requested. Service guy tried to sell me wiper blades, told me they were streaking. I knew they were not and it was obvious when I got in the car they had not been tested (not wet, no streaking). Always good for the maintenance as long as they can get you in. Very $$$
